Account Questions:

Q: How can I change my Password?

A: To change your Password, first Log In to your Myouterspace.com Account. Go to your Profile homepage, and select the “Profile” menu and then “Edit Details.” Enter your NEW Password into both empty Password fields and press “Save.”

 

Q: I forgot my Password, how can I retrieve it?

A: If you have forgotten your Password, click the “Forgot your password?” link below the Log In box. You will be asked to enter your email, be sure to give the email that you used to register with Myouterspace.com. We will send you an email with your Password and Password Reset information.

 

Q: I forgot my Username, how can I retrieve it?

A: If you have forgotten your Username, click the “Forgot your username?” link below the Log In box. You will be asked to enter your email, be sure to give the email that you used to register with Myouterspace.com. We will send you an email with your Username Information.


Q: I don’t want everyone to see my Profile Information, how can I change my Security Settings?

A: If you would like to edit your Security Settings for any reason, you need to first Log In to your Myouterspace.com Account. Once Logged In, go to your Profile homepage. Select “Profile,” then “Security” from the menu. Once inside, you can change your Profile, Friends, and Photos Security Levels, as well as Email Notifications.

Q: I already completed Registration; can I change my Planet selection?

A: No, unfortunately once you have selected Citizenship on a Planet and completed Registration, you cannot ever change your Citizenship to another planet. If you have other interests and talents beyond that of the Planet you Registered with, you can create a second profile for yourself under a different Planet.

 

Profile Questions:

Q: How to I upload Photos to my Myouterspace.com Profile?

A: In order to upload Photos to Myouterspace.com, you must be Logged In to your Account. Go to your Profile homepage, and select “Upload Photos”, which is located underneath your “My Status” text field. From there, you can Upload Photos to your current Albums.

 

Q: How do I create a new Photo Album?

A: To create a new Photo Album, you must be Logged In to your Myouterspace.com Account. Go to your Profile homepage, and select “Upload Photos”, which is located underneath your “My Status” text field. Then click the “My Photos” link above your Album list. From that page you can create a new Album.


Q: How can I delete a Photo from an Album?

A: First, Log yourself in to Myouterspace.com. In order to delete a Photo from a specific Album, you will need to navigate to “My Photos” and open the Album which you would like to delete a photo from. Once opened, select the image you would like to Delete and open it. Once opened, select “Delete Photo” from the top, right corner of the screen.

 

Q: How do I delete an entire Album?

A: In order to delete a whole Photo Album, you must be Logged In to your Myouterspace.com Account. Go to your Profile homepage and select “Upload Photos.” From the Upload page, select “My Photos,” then hit the “Delete” button below the album that you wish to delete.

Q: How do I find my friends on Myouterspace.com?

A: Once you are Logged In to your account, select “Members” from the Main Menu bar. Once in the Members’ Area, you can search for friends by name, username, and email address on the right side of the screen in the “Search” area. Once you’ve begun a Search, you can use Advanced Search tools to narrow your Search Results.

 

Q: How can I Block a User so they cannot view my profile or contact me?

A: We’re sorry to hear that you need to block a Myouterspace.com User! In order to Block a User, you must be Logged In to your Account. After Logging In, navigate to the User’s Profile page that you would like to block. Click the “Block User” link above their Profile Picture. You will be asked if you really do want to block them. Once you have selected “Yes” they are permanently Blocked.

 

General Site Questions:

Q: Why can’t I start my own Group?

A:  There are only 12 authorized Groups on Myouterspace.com, which are the 6 Planets and the 6 Starships. During Registration you already picked a Group to be a member of when you selected Citizenship on a Planet.

 

Q: Why can’t I begin my own Blog?

A: Starship Captains and Planet Governors are the only Users allowed to generate content through the use of the Blogging Feature. They use Blogging as a way to display News and Site information, not as a communication tool. If you would like to expand your profile information in lieu of Blogging, please do so!

 

Q: How do I become a member of a Starship’s Crew?

A: The only way that you can become a Crewmember of a Starship is if the Starship Captain selects you. The Starships are going to consist of only those who are working on its final project, and if your talent stands out enough on your planet, you may be selected to work with a Starship Team!
