Is there a FAQ anywhere around here? I want to learn about the Karma thing and the ships
Yep. I've been saving mine for a rainy day. Or when someone angers me. You know, whichever comes first.
It does...wow, I really need to do some research about this place...I miss having minions *sigh*
Just joined a few days age but looking forward to this site.

No one can explain a Dr. Who episode!! British ya know.
The finale, is that what you mean?
I think it was about the craziness of time travel. I loved it, it was manic!!!
What exactly confused you? Fire your questions.
start at the beginning and take it from there...especially the whole bit with the rift :)
I think it was to show the complexities of time travel and that nothing is ever final or impossible
good point... and if nothing is impossible then maybe it's possible that David Tennant will return lol :)
The whole episode is a temporal paradox. The rift in space is the Tardis exploding across space time, caused by we-do-not-know-yet-that's-for-next-season, but to try and prevent the tardis from exploding, all the doctor's arch enemies conceived an overly elaborate diabolical plot to trap him in the pandorica, they were assuming that only the Doctor could pilot the Tardis, and therefore if he was in "jail" the Tardis explosion could be prevented.
However, he escaped using a temporal paradox using Amy, and the rest was a basic chase to save the universe from exploding, which failed, but at least they were able to put it all back where it was supposed to be, kinda, using the pandorica's restoration beam at the heart of the tardis explosion, which went everywhere simultaneously across spacetime, so all matter everywhere was simultaneously destroyed and restored.
Simple as pie :-S
also, just to add to it, as he was being wiped out from the universe, he needed Amy to remember him so that when the pandorica restored her after she was wiped out, so would the doctor, because she's been imprinted with "special space time properties" (not available at 7-11 or Guardian best I can tell, and not recommended for dinner parties).
