Contest Losers - Post Your Entry Here
I thought it might be fun to start a thread where the contest losers can post their entries. I have seen a couple of these and they are quite good. If you didn't get into the Top 40, it doesn't necessarily mean you suck.
I will start the conversation with my own entry --> http://youtu.be/DOQfEKBuph8
Cheers,
Marc

Congrats to Hop from one of the hundreds of entrants.
You know how strange things happen? As I became familiar with the Zenoids (a futuristic band), in addition to my theme entry, another tune kept popping in my head that I envisioned Ziri (one of the characters) singing. I liked it so much that finished it up and found a young woman here in Cincinnati to sing it. It's called "There's Nothing Else I'd Rather Do" and will soon be available on downloadable and streamable music sites (I-Tunes, Amazon, Spotify, etc) as I've recently submitted it to cdbaby. The performer is listed as Son of Hog/Kelley Krebbs.
One thing always seems to lead to another. Congrats again to Hop.

Hey all - I apologize if this seems like a bald-face promotion, but truthfully the reason I joined MOS in the first place was to let people who have the kind of mind I think would be interested know that my long-time band - a band that my friend Joey Cape, leader of Lagwagon, called "science fictive" - was coming out with our first record under our original moniker of BOBGOBLIN since our major-label release 14 years ago (we had a few records afterward under the moniker, Adventures of Jet). After joining up, we ended up getting involved in a music contest for the Zenoids theme, and it turned out to be a lot of fun as we got to participate all the way to the finish line (Congrats to Jonas and the rest of the composers!). But now it's back to the original mission. Of course, we're not getting on every community on the intertubes and pushing BOBGOBLIN....we're doing it here at MOS because we think that "science-fictive" minds might really dig it. Shatner himself, being an obvious Bowie fan like we are, might even dig that sh*t. So check it out on our BOBGOBLIN Bandcamp site or iTunes, and hook up with us at our Facebook site if you want to join the select group of contraband runners in The Black Market Party.

I just hope the next contests (the songs sung by the Zenoids) won't be decided by votes. I don't even know 80,000 people. Hell, a Division in the Army is about 22,000 strong. Was really hoping Hop would win as I thought it was the best one. Anyway, congrats to the one who got the most votes!

Hi everyone. Here is mine. It's all orchestra. I'm using all synthetic scales as a harmonic device, if anyone cares. :)

It was good to hear everyone else's. Thanks for posting!

Here is my entry. I went for a retro sound based on the animation architecture and furniture. I guess this was not such a good idea! ;)
Good luck to all that made it to the finals!
