The Official Anachron Welcome and Group Formation Thread
Hello Non-chrons!
Your editor-in-chief Agent Smith here. Check in with your fellow authors, editors and artists below. We're hoping to have more group functionality together soon, but in the meantime, here is the place for everyone to put up their flag and say they'd like to share some stories and get some input before submitting.
Remember, we're all here to create and make our creations better. Debate about art is healthy, and criticism is part of the process. Keep it about the work, and great work can happen here.
Let's make Anachron - and your stories - the most read sci-fi publication on the web!

I write primarily humour, specializing in political and social satire, but for the past five years or so, I have been combining it with science fiction. Last summer, my major project (in addition to my regular Web site updates) was writing a novel (I love the results, but am having difficulty knowing what to do with it); this summer, my major project is writing a series of connected short stories inspired by a concept I originally suggested in a brief online conversation with Rudy Rucker.
Anachron is a great idea. I hope I can write something worthy of it.

I go by the inspired monicker of rmoore080 here, mostly in Creatia, where I dabble in writing. Not published, but I'm very interested in learning how to write a good science fiction story. And borrowing Steve's sentiment below and channeling Ricky Bobby: "If ya ain't writing, ya ain't writing!"

There seems to be this notion that we should again introduce ourselves. Check my profile if you want to see more. Naw, I think I'll play. I love science fiction and I want to write stories. Does that sound a little bit like Ricky Bobby in Tallagega Nights? "I want to go fast." Faster then the speed of light, y'all!

I am lonehorseend, mostly of Creatia, too. I'm an author who has being working on a series of books for twenty-five years now and is still unsure of when they will be published. It's not that I'm not a good writer, I just have a hard time believing it when it comes to my own work. I'm also a web / graphic designer by trade, so I know my way around layouts and creating PDFs. I'm definitely looking at this, and any opportunity to write that comes along in the My Outerspace universe, as a chance to expand my horizons and gain confidence in my own works.

*raises flag* Ok, I'll go first. I'm Kaedance, mostly of Creatia. I generally write novels and children's books, but I'd like to get into writing short stories as well. I don't have anything to submit yet, but I will definitely be looking for feedback about characterizations and plot. I am good at editing (but not a professional), so I'll be glad to help anyone who wants my help.
