Orpheus- Musical Artists and Bands
- About me
I was born with a creative bone that requires frequent exercising. I started playing guitar in 1969, and since then, it's been the greatest journey.
I'm a diehard non-conformist bent on cultivating my laidbackness to it's epitome.
Music flows through my mind constantly. The trick is to snatch it out of the air, and make it real!
I'll be posting some of the tunes I've written and recorded with various bands, and some solo stuff. Feel free to listen and comment.

- I love writing music, recording, and collaborating, and most of all, live performance. I'm amazed that after all these years, that it still gives me a woody!

Thanks bubbla. I am feeling much better. In fact, I went out and played my HS reunion the 17th. I probly shouldn't have, but hey, the show must go on! Of course I paid for it the next few days after, but it was a good gauge of my recovery so it was worth it. :D
but I've never been wrong
It seldom turns out the way
it does in the song

Now, you can walk right up to your boss, and proudly proclaim that you are personally acquainted with Jack Schidt!
I think you will like it here. There are lots of great musicians and composers. If I can be of any assistance, just let me know :)
Very cool news. Be sure to slip me the nip when the deed is done!
Wow that analogy has become creepy, lol. I'll post the link to all who wish to hear/purchase the whole tracks.
What's even creepier is that I was actually in a band called the Breast Fed Babies. But don't worry, I think I've now played that analogy for all it's worth.
Thanks Sully, that means a lot coming from someone of your ability.
Check out my blog at http://ideajuice.com and write on my wall or pester me in Second Life. I listened to some of your tunes and would be great to use some of it in a machinima sometime.
You know you can use my music anytime old friend :) So freaked out to see you here. This place don't know who just walked in. Not a clue!
Thanks for being a friend Matt. I can't wait to hear some of your work!
Thanks for your comment re the orchestral suite recording - It was great fun recording in Moscow, amazing musicians!
Anastasia has also referred me to you for some help with the mos mp3 player - wondering if you can assist me?
I've tried a few times to upload tracks to the mos mp3 player, but have had not luck. It comes up saying: "Orchestral Suite No.1 - Mvt 1 by Matthew Dewey has just been added to mdewey's player" in the feed, but it does not appear in my player?
A bit lost, not sure what I'm doing wrong.
Nice to be friends. Ya know, I was just looking at my player, and damned if I didn't spell "Bureaucratic" wrong in the song title LOL.
