Oh, and it was playing Guns n Roses when I got home. Good choice, computer - good choice indeed.

Well... that random play music thing gained me about thirty Twitter followers, at least. Back into the swing of things now, still lots of Uni work to do, but I've reached the halfway point, and it's all looking good - only 6000 more words to go, and I've got twelve days to write them in - easy peasy!

I'm going away for a couple of days, and I'm going to try something. My music player automatically tweets what it's playing, so I'm going to leave it on random while I'm away (volume down, obviously), and see what it's playing when I get back. Plus, people seem to keep adding me based on the music I play, which is kinda cool.

Sending positive thoughts for you to finish with time to spare :)
NEUR0M4NCER on Wednesday, 07 April 2010 16:20
I wouldn't say there was time to spare... I think I was within a couple of hours of the deadline. Of course, there's so much I want to go back and change now. I might just do that before I put it online. Thanks for the words of encouragement!

Nisa,
I'm pretty much in the same boat as you. When will they find a cure for the common cold!!! Argh!!!! I must say I'm loving the tracks on your player. Very nice.

Glad you like them - they're pretty much my two favourite tracks.

What if we could animate NASA's space murals? It would look like this [Video]
Remember the gloriously vibrant space art of astronauts walking on the moon? If those images were made into a movie they would look a whole hell of a lot like the trailer for Liquid Skies. Check it out, it's absolutely beautiful. More » -

Grimm's big finale digs up Nick's surprising past [Tv Recap]
This weekend we said goodbye to the first season of Grimm. Let's be honest, it was a long road with this series. After a promising pilot and collection of cute monster-of-the week episodes, Grimm kind of waded in its own juices for awhile. Not knowing what characters to build upon and which story lines to flesh out, we were less than optimistic about this little fairy tales' future. But then it started to get dark. Really dark. About three quarters into the premiere season, someone lit a match under Grimm's ass and shit got hot. The Hansel and Gretel episode (where human organ harvesters burned bodies in their front yard) and the Adalind episodes were easily two of our very favorite. So how did they end the season? Did Grimm go out with the same bit of newly found fire? Sort of. More » -

Orangutans hold off puberty by up to 10 years just to be more attractive [Monkey News]
As soon as orangutans go through puberty, they are pretty much expected to find a mate and start making babies. But as sexually frustrated high schoolers the world over will tell you, that's easier said than done. More »
