What can I say about Paul Barnett? He's British, he's witty, and he's sharp as a tack with a killer taste in music and shoes. Most famously associated with Warhammer Online, developed by Mythic Entertainment (now Mythic/Bioware), Barnett got his start designing online MUDs (Multi User Dungeons) in the late ‘90s, including AOL’s Legends of Terris (which was their first real interactive game) and followed by Legends of Cosrin. Barnett currently serves as the Creative Director for Mythic/Bioware, which is owned by EA Games. When Mark Jacobs designed of Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning, Barnett was brought in as a consultant to ensure that the virtual world “looked, felt and smelled like Warhammer.” During the last year of development, he ran the design department before being promoted to the role of Creative Director.
