April Eden grabbed a minute with Gamespot's Ryan MacDonald to talk about everything happening at Comic-Con 2011, including his favorite game releases. Do all movie tie-in games suck? (Green Lantern beats Thor in a taste-test). What's the biggest surprise game at the con? (Star Wars Kinect lets you force throw stuff around with your own hand - take that, Starkiller!) The real question is how many people at Comic-Con thought MacDonald was Jon Favreau... but in this video, looking over the San Diego convention center, April and Ryan talk Voltron nostalgia and how far away truly immersive Virtual Reality gaming is ... so, when I can I meet April on the Holodeck? |

Interview - Paul Barnett - Part 3 |
By Cricket Lee
What can I say about Paul Barnett? He's British, he's witty, and he's sharp as a tack with a killer taste in music and shoes. He's also the new Governor of the planet Sirius, home world to all of MOS’ resident video game developers and professionals.
Most famously associated with Warhammer Online, developed by Mythic Entertainment (now Mythic/Bioware), Barnett got his start designing online MUDs (Multi User Dungeons) in the late ‘90s, including AOL’s Legends of Terris (which was their first real interactive game) and followed by Legends of Cosrin. Barnett currently serves as the Creative Director for Mythic/Bioware, which is owned by EA Games. When Mark Jacobs designed of Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning, Barnett was brought in as a consultant to ensure that the virtual world “looked, felt and smelled like Warhammer.” During the last year of development, he ran the design department before being promoted to the role of Creative Director. As such, he frequently conducts interviews and speaks at panels on behalf of Mythic/Bioware.
