About me
~ RESUME ~

DIRECTOR:

I'm very interested in being a Director of movies.

Although my experience with directing plays (high school) and scenes (class projects) is limited to a few times, I consider myself a strong natural for directing.

I believe a great director can make any actor look good, and exceptional actors look outstanding!

DIRECTOR OF PHOTOGRAPHY:

I definitely want to direct actors, but I feel I would be a natural at Director of Photography too. I'm always looking for the best artistic expression and feel in my camera's viewfinder.

ACTOR:

I can also act and do voice-over work. I was in drama classes in San Diego Jr. Theater and into high school - Thespian.

AUTHOR:

I have written novels, screenplays, lyrics-poems, self-help essays, and articles for Power Essence.

I don't have any formal musical training, but I have been creating song-lyric poems since the early 1980s. I wrote 101 sets in a two-month period and I'm probably over 150 thus far. I seriously think I can write on any topic and have covered sci-fi to metaphysical to philosophical to comical and relationship-related subjects.

You'll find the first 150 sets of lyrics starting with my very first here:

http://gregfolio.com/writings/poems-song-lyrics/finding-you/

ARTIST:

I paint acrylic phosphorescent and fluorescent pigments of science fiction and space art on canvas.

I'm good with models and crafts.

I'm doing my own home renovations with travertine, granite and bamboo floors, venetian plaster painted walls, and interior designing of lighting and fixtures.

PHOTOGRAPHER:

I'm all over the place, including subjects such as aluminum foil, architecture, portraits, landscapes, my paintings under UV black-light or glowing in the dark!

The Genres I selected below are areas in which I wish to work or in which I have dabbled. I consider myself a fast learner.

Any ideas on the implications of the electrical universe theory for scifi energy weapons?
GregfolioGregfolio on Saturday, 22 May 2010 15:11

EU based energy weapons are already in the works! Plasma - electrically ionized gas exists abundantly from static sparks to lightning to our sun, and if the thunderbolts.info plasma scientists are correct that plasma makes up 95% of the universe, then we'll be able to use those massive forces in many ways - from weapons to shields to galactic communication to inner-stellar transportation to an endless source of energy. Plasma cannons and bombs, lightning rays and even massive arrays of electrical-focus devices that trigger stars to nova are a few sci-fi weapons I can imagine.

Sorry to hear that Frank Frazetta, my favorite artist, passed away May 10 from a stroke. He was 82. I first saw his art illustrating Edgar Rice Burroughs books, and emulated his style in my own budding artistic endeavors. I borrowed his "Moon Maid" cover art and put the centaur and maiden in one of my "Floating Island" watercolors way back in 1976.

You're so welcome! All we need now is someone to compose some music, a cool script, you as the star, and we have a winning mini-MOS project!

Only if you are the Director :)

GregfolioGregfolio on Thursday, 15 April 2010 08:03

I would literally and figuratively jump at the opportunity!!! I'm surprised the blog posting didn't receive a bunch of hits since you're so popular here.

AnastasiaAnastasia on Thursday, 15 April 2010 13:59

I'm not so sure it is me who is actually so popular...I think it is the women in my photos :)

That would be an Elmer Fudd like response for 'trippy'.

how long have you lived there?
GregfolioGregfolio on Tuesday, 06 April 2010 23:03

Definitely make sure that's a two-way love thing if it affects such a big decision to move or stay! You're one smart cookie, so you'll be able to tell.

I've lived here since I was about 7 years old, so a very looooooooooong time.

To answer the question you left on my photo...I am French and Native American ancestry. I grew up on a farm in MN, work was never done...there is always something that needs to be done on a farm :) I spent every spare moment of my childhood reading books...ALL kinds of books. My thirst for knowledge still compels me ever forward. The very first movie I ever saw in the theater was the original Star Wars movie...it had a HUGE impact on my life...way beyond entertainment. The ideals of selfless work for the greater good have remained my constant companion. Ideas of the future, robots, space exploration, and the vast universe have intrigued me my whole life. My artistic side started with piano at age 4, and blossomed to include drawing, writing, theater, science, math, painting, photography, graphic design, and architecture. Constant involvement in all things creative, intelligent, and meaningful inspire me...and the ethics learned in childhood of constant work toward something positive shape my every decision.

what kind of songs do you write?
GregfolioGregfolio on Sunday, 28 March 2010 14:51

I write just lyrics on a wide range of topics. Although I'd love to write and play music too, I have no training in that at all. I wrote 101 sets of lyrics in a three month period and I think I'm close to 140 total by now, the rest written over the years. I seriously think I can write lyrics about any topic! Some of my lyrics are philosophical while others are fun-type poems, relationship material, and even sci-fi.

How about you? Do you write poetry too?

GregfolioGregfolio on Sunday, 28 March 2010 15:22

Here's the URL to my very first lyrics "Finding You" and the next 40 or so if you click the link title just past the end of each post on the right hand side.

thank you for the link. i tried your EIT and was pleased to find that it works. it is similar to Ilchi Lee's Brain Respiration Therapy i studied with Dahn Hak. it very definitely does address the meridian system and it's associated thoughts and habits. i remember when i was deep into brain respiration i had an overwhelming belief that we function like computers~on the same type of command system...when i heal, i actually send a system of commands like the ones that you have created with your "clear all" technique verbally, mentally, and intuitively; i guess that would be most like reiki.

my only question is what system do you have for restoring the self once you have released the negatives and cleared the blockages? the reason i ask is because we were asked to clear things like "love"...do you have a way to reprogram to a higher vibrational state once you have cleansed and balanced?

have you ever used tools like auric field machines or applied kinesology to quantify your results?

very cool, Gregfolio. i liked it very much. thank you again.
GregfolioGregfolio on Friday, 26 March 2010 09:59

I did include some positive programming comments for the first few general EIT steps, and I still do need to add more to the rest. The complete EIT that I wrote is currently over 180 scenarios to clear, so I have a lot of writing with which to catch up! My good friend from work has tried all the general steps and I've worked closely with her on specific scenarios for her, and she's commented that the closing positive programming statements that I usually include for her are her favorite parts of the EIT.

Other than personal reports from people that try the EIT, I have not used any other quantifying method to gather evidence to support the validity of the technique. If I had the time and the funding, I would love to take the EIT to full scientific-research mode in order to prove or disprove the EIT above being just the placebo affect. I've seen it work tremendously for myself and other people, but I would like to have actual medical and physiological results documented to hopefully support the process as a viable means for dealing with a wide range of human issues. If real, it could have ramifications across the entire spectrum of human health and well being, from mental to physical, since I've seen great results in those areas!
