Game Music

Hello crazy gamers!!

So I've been making game music and sound design for a couple of years now and have decided that it is my almost, very much favorite thing to do. Outside of cooking and a couple of other things...

Regardless, I've got a few games under my belt and am looking for more challenges. Anyone have any challenges for me?

Anyone else love awesome game music?? Need any?

Hey Melodious
I'm a big believer that music can be a big help in setting the level of immersion and the direction of a game. Some of my favourite music includes anything composed by Nobuo Uematsu (Final Fantasy, Lost Odyssey), Jesper Kyd (Assassin's Creed), Martin O'Donnell & Michael Salvatori (Halo) and there are more, but then I'd be typing for a long time haha!

As for needing game music, I'm not currently in that position, however that may change soon. I'm currently putting together a couple of retro style games. A scrolling shooter (1942 style) and an RPG (SNES Final Fantasy style). I'm still in the studying stage as far as the game programming is concerned, so I'm not yet working in the industry and just looking at putting together projects for my portfolio.

What type of games have you made music for? Is there a particular genre that you favour?
