Who has seen the Martin Campbell Green Lantern?  What did you think of it?

Well, it depends on how big your TV is . . .There are some effects that just won't look right on anything smaller than about a 36. It's like the Transformers movies I saw on Friday. I waited until Transformers 2 came out on DVD and watched it on my TV. I really wasn't that impressed because there was too much to cram on the small screen. Transformers 3 was decent, but predictable in some respects, but I liked it better than Transformers 2 because I saw more of it.

Sinestro by the way is his name. The movie is good, not perfect, but what is, I think because the main character is supressing his fear so much that it colours his display of his other emotions until nearer the end of the movie.

Luckily it wasn't in a row, that may have hurt lol. It was with a week between them, but it isn't a bad film, hope you enjoy it :)

Thanks, Shlabloink, I remember not to sit through two shows in a row.

I really enjoyed it the first time I saw it, quick, well written, well acted, good film. The second time I saw it I was really disapointed, it really lacks longevity, hole s in the plot were easier to see and some ideas weren't developed and just kind of hung there. A good film for a one time viewing, but not one I'll buy sadly...but still, if you havn't seen it, go watch and enjoy (just don't bother again until it's on TV)

I thought it was decent. Not as good as Thor or the first Transformers movie, but not as predictable or campy as the Prince of Persia movie either. I was mildly surprised the Celstro reminded good through the whole movie. It'll be interesting how the sequel turns him evil without being predictable since we all know the yellow ring exists. I definitely liked how they explained the colors. My only compliant is that for some reason I couldn't really connect with the actor playing the main character. I mean he played it decently, but I didn't always feel or see his emotions.

A buddy in my Pathfinder group said the effects were slightly cheesy, but that he was a big Green Lantern fan from the comics and he loved it. I could be misquoting him because he had a lot of beer before he said all that.
